Policy Highlights
Due to the intimate nature of jewellery, hygiene considerations and the particularly delicate nature of many of our products, Saanjh Jewels does not offer additional voluntary returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind beyond any rights required by law. We also do not offer a general voluntary exchange service.
This is particularly important because many of our products are worn close to the skin; are worn through pierced ears; are worn against the face, neck or hairline; may be handled or tried on in a way that affects hygiene; include delicate stones or embellishments; may be difficult to assess for prior wear after handling; and in the case of glass bangles, are fragile and vulnerable to breakage during handling and transit.
However, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Change of Mind
Outside any statutory cancellation right that applies, we do not offer additional voluntary returns or refunds simply because: you changed your mind; you no longer like the item; the item no longer matches your outfit; your event was cancelled; you ordered more than one option; you no longer require the item; you selected the wrong colour; you selected the wrong size; or you found an alternative elsewhere. Please choose carefully before ordering.
Online Cancellation Rights
Where UK law gives you a statutory right to cancel an eligible online order, that right is not removed by this policy. For many online purchases, consumers generally have up to 14 days after delivery to communicate a decision to cancel, subject to legal exceptions (GOV.UK). To exercise an applicable cancellation right, contact saanjh.jewels23@gmail.com and include your full name, order number, item concerned and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
Hygiene-Sensitive Goods
Some products may be supplied in sealed packaging for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons. Where the legal hygiene exception applies, the statutory cancellation right may be lost if the sealed goods are unsealed after delivery. This may be relevant to particular products depending on their nature, packaging and how they are intended to be worn. Important: Saanjh Jewels will only rely on this exception where it lawfully applies. Merely describing an item as "hygiene-sensitive" does not automatically remove statutory cancellation rights.
Earrings
Earrings are worn through or in close contact with pierced ears and therefore present particular hygiene considerations. Where earrings are supplied in appropriate sealed hygiene packaging and the legal exception applies, they may not be eligible for a change-of-mind cancellation return once that hygiene seal has been broken after delivery. This does not affect your rights if earrings are faulty, damaged when supplied, incorrect, or not as described.
Delicate Jewellery
Many Saanjh Jewels products contain delicate stones, chains, settings, beads, embellishments, tikka components, decorative elements and glass components. We ask customers to handle all pieces carefully. The delicate nature of an item does not by itself remove statutory cancellation rights. However, customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in their possession, and any issue caused after delivery by misuse or damage will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Glass Bangles & Sizing
Glass bangles are fragile by nature and can break if dropped, knocked, bent, crushed, forced over the hand, incorrectly packed, placed under pressure, or otherwise mishandled. Because of their fragility, please check your size carefully before ordering. Where statutory rights do not require otherwise, we do not offer a voluntary refund or exchange merely because the customer selected the wrong bangle size. If an applicable statutory return is made, the customer must package the bangles appropriately and follow any lawful return instructions provided.
Return Transit for Fragile Goods
Where a return is legally permitted, delicate items must be packaged with appropriate care. We strongly recommend using original protective packaging, individually protecting fragile pieces, preventing items from shifting, avoiding soft mailing bags alone for glass bangles, and using a tracked service.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible at saanjh.jewels23@gmail.com with your full name, order number, clear photographs of the item and both outer/inner packaging, and a short description of the issue.
